YouthSpirit for Wellness workshops theme "Check Yourself".

 

The goal of the educational activity is to educate and promote health and wellness awareness among our youth. Please join us for free food, music, take-home goodie bags, hands on health and Wellness activities and more. Parents and caregivers can help the youth to be happy and healthy in their mind, body and spirit.

YouthSpirit for Wellness is a production of National Women of Colors Cancer Foundation a not-for profit foundation, will host its 3rd annual YouthSpirit for Wellness workshops theme "Check Yourself." The workshops will be held at Riverview East Community Learning Center, 3555 Kellogg Avenue. There will be two workshop sessions: The first session will focus on self-awareness and stress reduction for the youth ages from 8-12. Our second session will focus on prevention and intervention solutions that encourage healthy lifestyle choice for youth ages from 13-17.
